Yield: Makes about 24 fritters.

1/2 | cup | milk | |

1 | can | ( 12 ounces ) golden whole kernel corn with sweet peppers, undrained | |

1 | tablespoon | Planters Peanut Oil | |
|

1 1/2 | cups | unsifted flour | |

1 | tablespoon | baking powder | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | salt | |

Beat egg in large bowl. Stir in milk, corn and 1 tablespoon Planters Peanut Oil. Add and beat in flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Drop by tablespoonfuls into deep or shallow hot ( 375 F. ) Planters Peanut OIl. Fry until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot. If desired, serve with syrup.
